Class Speeches

Well the time is almost here for the School Speech Competition. We will have our class speeches on Friday 29th October and select our Semi-finalist(s)and from there the Year 7 Semi Final will be next Wednesday and the School Final on Friday. I am looking forward to hearing all the great speeches that have been worked on!!

Destination New Zealand

Some great information and work was presented today as part of our Amazing Race Homework. It has been great to see groups organised and working well together. There is still some room for improvement in things and I look forward to seeing progress in future presentations. The photos are from a couple of groups and their "focus Question" challenges. Some outstanding information presented by "British Airways" on their Animals, Flag and People. "Air NZ" presented a very tasty cooked breakfast consisting on Sausages, Spaghetti, bacon, Eggs and Mushrooms. We were also entertained by a Fred Dagg Original and Poi-E dance from the "Jet Star" group.

Term 4 - COMMUNICATION

Well term 4 is off to a great start with lots of great stuff planned and already underway. This term our focus is on communication and working together in different challenging situations. Students are already in teams and working on their "Amazing Race" group homework challenges- this work has students in teams of 5 gathering and presenting learning about different countries around the world, this weeks the 'start' country is New Zealand.
